With limited resources at their disposal, Ebbsfleet United have relied heavily on loan deals this season to help them consolidate their promotion to Blue Square Bet Premier. Charlton defender Yado Mambo and Crystal Palace forward Nathaniel Pinney have both been astute signings and the Fleet have done well to keep hold of both players for longer than first agreed.
Now, there's a new kid on the block at Stonebridge Road. Gozie Ugwu, an 18-year-old striker on the books at Reading, joined Ebbsfleet on a month-long loan just before the January transfer window closed. I decided to get in touch with Gozie, via Twitter, to find out a bit more about him. This 'twinterview' - our questions and answers in no more than 140 characters - certainly isn't as straight-laced as if I were writing for a paper, but if there's enough love for it, I'll look into doing some more.
Who was your footballing icon when you were a kid?
nice one! Jheez gotta be Thierry Henry!
Whose results do you look out for on a Saturday evening - and in what order?
If Reading played away, it will be them, Man u and Arsenal probably
Why did you decide to go out on loan and how did you end up at Ebbsfleet?
To get some 1st team football experience and Reading and Ebbsfleet got into contact and thought this would be an ideal loan
Your first pair of boots?

Nice. Who's going to win the Premier League?
I'm going Man Utd to scrape it!
You've quoted Philippians 4.13 [I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me] on your twitter biog. Why is that verse significant for you?
its a verse that you can always fall back on in any situation in life!
Last three questions. Were the FA right to take the England captaincy away from John Terry?
yh, even though this matter should of been resolved a long time ago
What's the best show on TV at the moment?
only really get to watch MOTD on a weekend
And finally... Expectations of your month with Ebbsfleet and a message for the supporters?
start off by beating York and having a good run in the league! And I wna say thanks for the kind messages! Now LETS WIN GAMES!
